T.O.'s too much

At first, I was all for Trellel Owens suiting up in Bengal's stripes in 2010. Then I thought about it. Take one look at Cincinnati's roster. Check out the depth at wide receiver. Names like Chad Ochocinco, Antiono Bryant Jerome Simpson, and Jordan Shipley are supposed to be at the top. If T.O. came onboard, a young talent would certainly be cut. And young guns like Simspon and Shipley wouldn't get playing time. All so a 36 year-old could try to rebound from one of his worst pro seasons.

My Midnight Thoughts

The Miami Heat will win the NBA championship this year.
LeBron James did what he had to do, don't judge him because he wants to win.
I miss the old Tiger Woods, but he's still the best.
Brett Favre?........ nope, not ringing a bell.
The Reds are still in it, and I am still cautiously optimistic.
The N.L. just won the all-star game for the first time since i could write in cursive. . . it's about freaking time.
Also, I'm very tired.

My thoughts on the Lakers (in 512 characters or less)

Wow.
I thought about just leaving this post at just that. Wow. Honestly, that fairly sums up my thoughts on Los Angles' second straight NBA championship. Wow. And it doesn't get much 'less' than 512 characters. So, simple as it is, all I can say is wow.
It makes it all the better for the Lakers that Kobe Bryant was not the main factor in game seven. "I sucked" Bryant said with a smile after the game. That's the difference between the Lakers and Cavaliers, they can win without their star playing like it.

The definition of skepticism

Ok I'll admit it: as I type this article on my cell phone in June, I am a little excited about the Cincinnati Reds. It's crazy, isn't it? I mean, this is a team that hasn't made the playoffs this DECADE, and I have the nerve to say they might have actually assembled a decent team?
It's probably the heat talking. Because c'mon, this is the "Shreds" we're talking about.
Bottom line: I'm going to be weary of all Cincy sports forever, and my phone has a 512 character input limit.

Here it comes...

It seems like just yesterday, I was riding a schoolbus for the first time. Last year saw me attend my first day of public school, and on Monday, I will attend my last.
(sigh)
It doesn't seem fair, hoenstly. I have met so many people who I have grown to love so much, and now, I have to say goodbye. It seems as quickly as I started, I am ending. I really don't have many words to say about this, because I'm not sure how to feel- I've never had to feel quite like this before.
On one hand, I'm excited. This fall, I will attend Indiana Wesleyan University, where I will work for the school paper, The Sojourn. I can't wait to start classes, and see my amazing friends who will also be attending.
I'm also nervous. These high school buildings are all I've known for two years now, both during the day and at work. I'm anxious about leaving these firmiliar halls, because I know that I can own them.
I'm sad, more than anything else though. It hasn't quite hit me yet, but I can't even describe how much I'm going to miss these people. Students and teachers alike, they've all helped shape me into who I am today.
I see some people in class who say they cannot wait to get out of here and graduate. They disgust me. They don't appreciate high school like I do, they don't know how great it is.
I can only hope that the next chapter in my book goes even better.
To all my friends at Western Brown and Southern Hills,
I love you guys,
